Practical informations

The boat has a classic kitchen fitted with a stove, BBQ grill, pots, plates, cutlery, etc. Normally we have breakfast and lunch onboard. In the evening we can go for dinner to the restaurant ashore, or we can cook dinner on board. In some places, it is worth tasting fresh fish or lobster in a local restaurant.

We have equipment for snorkeling and water sports (2 paddleboard). As luggage, we recommend using a backpack or soft bags that can be put together. Don't take a hard suitcase, because we have no place to store it.

For clothing, you will need a hat, swimwear, sandals a few T-shirts and shorts. In case of rain, it is advised to pack a thin waterproof jacket, even though bad weather in the Caribbean is rare. Sunglasses are a must. Do not bring suntan oil, because it makes the deck slippery. White sunscreen lotion with a high factor (about 30) is a good choice. Each passenger is provided with a made-up bed and two towels. If you prefer a large beach towel you have to bring that yourself.

Medical care is in the Caribbean at a high level, but if you are taking medication - bring it with you in sufficient amounts. For those, who suffer from seasickness: tablets, acupressure bracelets, or seasickness patches are recommended. Although Timaiao is a catamaran (which means a very stable boat) it can still swing. On the islands are no tropical diseases, so no special vaccinations are required.

The covid vaccinations and tests are no longer required in the Caribbean, but to be sure - check the current status or ask us.

The boat is equipped with a first aid kit. The medical assistance is always within a radius of VHF and cell phones.

In each cabin is a 220/110-volt contact for charging your phones, cameras, etc...

On board, there are 3 showers. Two shower rooms inside (combined with a restroom) and one outside on the deck.

Cellphones works everywhere, incl. LTE / 3G, depending of your operator.

If you want your music, it is best to record it on your mobile device like an iPad, iPhone, etc. This can be connected directly to the stereo on the boat.

The boat is equipped with several rescue schemes, including a sufficient number of life jackets for adults and children weight over 40kg (80 lbs). If you are bringing children weighing less than 40kg (80 lbs), please bring life jackets designed specifically for their weight and size - even if they can swim.

If you have any questions, please contact us. We are answering emails until 12 hours, depending on the timezone difference.
